Washington, DC, the nation's capitol, will be the host city for the UICC World Cancer Congress 2006 and 13th World Conference on Tobacco OR Health13th World Conference on Tobacco OR Health and the CDC Cancer Summit. Washington, DC is a cosmopolitan city with a culturally and socially diverse population and features - such as world-class museums, unique architecture, and exclusive shopping and dining - that make it a major world tourism attraction. At the center of a metropolitan area extending into Maryland and Virginia, Washington is the legislative, administrative, and judicial center of the United States.
